Lore is a murder mystery game you play by walking. Every Monday a new case starts. As you walk, clues appear on a real map of your city. Collect them, question the suspects, and name the killer on night 7.

No. Walk wherever you like. Clues appear on streets near you as your step count grows.

Check that Lore has permission to read Steps in iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Lore. Then open Lore again so it can read the latest count. Steps recorded by another app or a watch reach Lore once they are in Apple Health.

Around fifteen, about two each night, across seven nights. Each case has its own set of suspects.

Yes. The Chief can give you a nudge. How many you get depends on the difficulty: two at Gentle, one at Standard, none above that. Bureau members get two more.

Open the suspect in your case file, hold the mic button and ask your question out loud. The suspect answers by voice.

Yes. The weekly case is always free. Membership is optional and adds past cases, an early start and more.

In iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Lore. You can cancel anytime.

Open the Detective tab, tap the Bureau card, then tap Restore. Use the same Apple ID you bought the membership with.

By steps. Leagues are weekly and reset every Monday when the new case starts.

Open the Detective tab and tap Friends. Share your friend code, or enter a friend’s code to add them.
